Brett Baier is a journalist, news anchor and reporter from the United States of America. He was born on 4th of August, 1970 in Rumsun, New Jersey. Although he is American by nationality, his ethnicity is of German and Irish origins. Brett Baier was born to Pat Baier and Bill Baier. As a child, he was raised in a Roman Catholic household, so it is safe to say that his household was pretty religious. He attended the Marist School, which was a private Roman Catholic high school situated in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from high school in the year 1988. Afterwards, he joined the Methodist DePauw University situated in Greencastle, Indiana for higher studies and from there, he graduated in the year 1992. Brett Baier began his career in media with a local news station called WJWJ TV16 on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Afterwards, he joined the WRAL-TV, which was a CBS affiliate in Raleigh, North Carolina. In 1998, he sent an audition tape to Fox News where he was hired for the position of the network’s Atlanta bureau chief. He covered the attack on the Pentagon on 11th September, 2001 and was fixed as the network’s Pentagon correspondent, serving for five years in that position and going to Afghanistan 11 times and to Iraq 13 times.

Before Paul underwent the heart surgery, Brett, his wife Amy and their older son Daniel were invited by former American president George W. Bush for a visit to the Oval Office and during that time, president Bush had the White House physician update him on Paul’s health. Amy Baier was born and raised in Chicago.
